Location	Säbyholm, Landskrona, Sweden

Information	The aim of the proposal was to create an clear and visible entrance from the north to the city of Landskrona. Coming from the hills north of the city there was no clear division between the open agricultural landscape and the city itself. The commission was about creating a clear line between the open fields and the city. The urban plan consists of several subareas which have all been analysed, and on basis of that analysis, several development strategies were made. A new residential area, based on the ideals of the garden city movement, creates a strict division between the urban fabric and the agricultural landscape. A park situated along an existing stream becomes the main attraction inside the area and is connected to parks in adjacent areas. Thus enabling movement all the way down to the Öresund in a continious park environment. The existing estate of Säbyholm is today a school and different ideas for extendig the school has been tested. There is also a proposal of creating an office cluster for start-up companies on one of the vacant sites inside the area.
