Information

We are developing a new residential area in Norra Borstahusen inspired by the historic fishing village’s compact small-house structure.
Our proposal consists of linked houses on small plots, designed as brick volumes with carefully placed wooden elements.
Narrow passageways – “sträden” – connect the street to the private gardens and create sightlines towards the park.
The houses are oriented with an urban front facing the street and a bright, open side facing Säbystråket.
The compact layout promotes safety, neighbourly interaction and social life, while each home still enjoys a protected private garden.
Two house types, “medium” and “large”, offer generous living spaces in different sizes.
A total of eleven homes are planned: seven medium and four large.
The location between street and nature gives each home a dual orientation – towards both the town and the landscape.
The project offers a nature-oriented, low-maintenance lifestyle ideal for active families.
Together, the houses form a climate-smart, characterful and site-specific neighbourhood that adds a new chapter to Borstahusen’s development.
